Well, I guess it was to be expected. With a wet cold winter, Duet's refit has taken longer than projected. We are now scheduled to launch on or about July 22 and commence cruising after final work and a shakedown around August 1. That means of course that we may not be able to visit with as many of our friends as we had hoped to on the way from Maine to Long Island, but c'est la vie. We will be in Port Jefferson, New York on August 29 to pick up our older daughter Susan, her husband Rob and our grandson Ethan for a short two day cruise and then we will be making our way to Staten Island for our friend's son's wedding on September 6, with the idea of leaving for Cape May and the real start of our journey South on September 8. We'll keep you posted. In the meantime, our new name has finally made it to the transom of Duet, so we've added a picture to commemorate the occasion. Regards to all.
